“...To see the world, things dangerous to come, to see behind our walls, to draw closer, to find each other, to feel. That is the purpose of life…” -The Secret Life of Walter Mitty As a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, I provide services exclusively through telehealth, offering flexible, accessible support for clients across diverse backgrounds and identities. My practice is rooted in affirming, trauma-informed care for those navigating LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC identities and issues. I specialize in clients struggling with substance use, complex trauma, and the emotional impact of addiction, whether personal or through a loved one. As well as clients identified as people pleasers, caregivers, and parentified daughters. With a deep understanding of how early experiences, systemic oppression, and relational patterns shape our lives, I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. I support clients through a variety of challenges, including anxiety, emotional dysregulation, codependency, and shifts in relationships, identity, or life direction. My goal as a counselor is to provide an empathetic ear within a safe space where you feel heard and develop positive change and growth in self-compassion and understanding. Clinically, I utilized Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to guide healing from a parts-based, non-pathology perspective. I am Level 1 trained in IFS through the IFS Institute and incorporate this model to help clients process trauma at a deeper level. Building a relationship with someone is the first step in understanding your needs for change, and I would be so honored to provide that space for you.

AUSTIN SIEGRIST PLMHP
Counselor
HE/HIM
Hi, my name is Austin Siegrist. I am a recent graduate of Crown College. In May of 2025, I completed a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling along with two enriching internships. During my internship experiences, I had the opportunity to serve a diverse clientele regarding a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and mental health concerns or issues that were presented. The vastness and specificity of mental health problems in relation to each person is unique. Therefore, I believe this requires an eclectic approach that is versatile and can thus be tailored to each individual to suit their treatment and will aid in the fulfillment of their goals. In this way, I found myself familiarizing and thus utilizing several therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), strengths focused, and emotion focused therapy (EFT), among other modalities. I have had the privilege of providing therapy to several populations. I have worked with child, adolescent, and adult clients who presented with a broad spectrum of mental health conditions and concerns including depression, anxiety, and stressor and trauma-related disorders, and spiritual issues to name a few. I have enjoyed walking alongside each person in their journey to healing and mental wellness. Each person’s story matters and holds meaning and I am excited to have the chance to explore and find that with person that walks through my door.

ALBERT SPARKS M.S. LIMHP
Counselor
He/Him/His
“A step may be the beginning of a great journey” In life the first step is always the most difficult for people, the same can be said about therapy. Introducing oneself to someone they just met, trusting a stranger with their thoughts and feelings can be a truly intimidating experience. The purpose of therapy is to provide a safe space for a person to take the first step on the journey of healing and the personal growth that follows. Therapy is fluidic and follows an integrative, and adaptable path determined by the client’s goals. Each client is different, requiring a unique approach, in order that they gain the most out of the environment and experience. Let’s create your personal “sanctuary”/safe space together. What’s important to you to live a healthy, balanced, and meaningful life? Peace, tranquility, the experience of today, learning to cope, or? You name your goals, and I will be glad to assist you in achieving them. An integrative approach is what seems to work the best as each client has uniquely different situations for coming to therapy. For some people just having the room to talk, relax, breathe, and venting is enough. For others, a journal to jot down their thoughts becomes a tool as well. Perhaps a combination of various approaches works best. We all need a plan for self-care, which will at times get us through a rough spot, providing us a way to redirect the flow of energy. I passionately believe humor belongs in therapy, laughter can open the door to calming anxiety and nervousness. I hold an M.S. in clinical counseling and am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner. I enjoy playing games (video, card, and board), creative writing (I write stage plays, poetry, and short fiction.) and puppetry for young children and have no problem with using these as a therapeutic approach, as long as it is a beneficial part of the journey. So come on in and let’s take this important first step together.. Live a little, laugh more, and find your wings in life.
